Business Contact Manager Problem

I'm having a recurring problem with Business Contact Manager. The contact
history window keeps switching to a non-standard view: showing my e-mail
inbox!!! This is a screwy bug; for a while reinstalling the BCM would fix
it, but nothing fixes it now: not Detect & Repair, not reinstalling all of
Office, nothing.

I largely bought this version of Office to gain access to the Business
Contact Manager, which is an absolute lemon.

Anyone got a fix for me?

I've found no references to anything like this in the Microsoft knowledge
base.

if it's a view problem, I'd try the /cleanviews switch - but since that
deletes all custom views, I'd first try resetting the view in question.

Hi Diane,
Thanks for your reply. I'm afraid, however, I'm not following you. I don't
know anything about configuring custom "views" for the BCM, so it was not a
matter of having a problem with a customized view, unless it somehow
autoswitched me into a custom view. Although the "Add" button appears to
the right of the Contact History window for a given contact, nothing appears
when it's clicked.

If you can give me a quick tip about adjusting these views I can play with
it and see if that solves the problem.

Thanks!
Elliot
