Business Contact Manager installation

I have Office 2003 and Windows XP Pro, trying to install office Business
Contact Manager 2003. The installation almost completes, then rolls itself
back. I looked in the dasetup.log file in the Windows directory and that
file shows NO error, says the installation was completed successfully.
Help?

That's a new one I haven't heard about previously. Business Contact Manager
is new enough that we don't have a lot of solid troubleshooting information
yet. But here's what we do know:

-- BCM will disable itself if the profile contains an Exchange account. This
behavior is by design.

-- If you get errors during setup, if BCM does not load even after you edit
the LoadBehavior registry value, or if the database does not load, you
should initiate a support incident with Microsoft at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;en-us;incidentsubmit. You
will need a .Net Passport, but there should be no charge for filing the
request for help.

Sue,

Thanks, I'll try the support incident although I'm having a problem there as
it wants a Product Number and I have a universal subscription with DVDs and
there are no Product Numbers there. Also, I'm using POP email accounts, no
Exchange here.

If you have an MSDN Universal subscription, you might have to use one of
your MSDN incidents.
