Business Contact Manager 2007 and SQL Server 2008

Can you please give advice or a white paper on configuring Business Contact
Manager on a SQL Server 2008 instance ?
I would have thought it would have been as simple as connecting to the
database, but that does not work.
Thank you.

Business contact manager 2007 does not support hosting the data base on SQL
server 2008 . If you want to host the database please use SQL 2005 and the
BCM admin tool should do the trick

Thank you, Raul.
That explains it.
I could use MS Access 2007 then, although that isn't my first choice.
Do you have a white paper on configuration/connection of BCM 2007 with MS
Access 2007 running on Vista?
I followed a couple of steps that I found to connect, and I have not been
successful. It seems as though it may be either an ODBC issue or a
permissions issue.
Thank you in advance.

The following link should lead you to the white paper

http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/inn...cuments/Outlook2007BusinessContactManager.doc

The steps can be cumbersome , hence I would recommend using the BCM admin
tool
