burning vcd

Hi all
when trying to burn a vcd in nero From avi it all starts
to work then hangs up the the computer ,i have done this
before on a friends computer the only thing different is
that thay have Xp home and i have xp pro dont see why
this is not working if anyone can help ?

My computer system is
amd 2000 xp
512mb ram
40gb hd

First, Nero is convert the video, this is a long process.
Second, for problems with Nero it is best to contact them.
