You would had done better to shrink them to an ISO file then burn with DVD
Decrypter, which is also free.
To expand on this:
Download DVD Decrypter (825kb), install it, and DVD Shrink will detect
it automatically.
Insert a DVD-R in your recorder, and your DVD in your DVD reader.
Open DVD Shrink, and unclick "Enable burning with Nero" in Edit >
Preferences > File I/O.
Then, in DVD Shrink again, Click Backup! > Target Device and choose "ISO
image file and burn with DVD Decrypter(TM)". (If you want to use some
other burner, just choose "ISO image file", and then burn the image
manually.)
Click OK. That's it! DVD Shrink will shrink the DVD, make the ISO image,
pass the burning job to DVD Decrypter and close itself. After a while
(it may be a long while) DVD Decrypter will play its exotic, gay tune.
Your DVD is backed up.
These are just the necessary steps. There are many other settings to
play with.
Also, this presupposes that you have two drives, one burner and one
reader. I guess that, if you use one drive, DVDShrink will eject the DVD
after making the ISO and ask you to insert the DVD-R.
Here is a tutorial, with screenshots and everything. It is very
detailed, but a bit baffling, and makes it seem as it is difficult.
