Burning long audio file

I'm needing to burn an 86 minute audio file from an Olympus digital recorder
to a cd/dvd. The file is obviously 6 minutes too long for the cd, so I've
tried it on a dvd. It does burn and will play on my computer but will not
play in my car cd, which is where I need it. Any tips on getting this to
work?? Is there a way to convert the wmp file to wav?--does a wav file work
on a car stereo?? Help!!

You can try one of the following solutions:

• Burn an audio CD (not a data CD) on CD-R (not CD-RW) media.

• Burn a data CD by using only MP3 files. You can use an MP3 creation
plug-in and the Audio Converter feature of Microsoft Plus! Digital Media
Edition to convert your WMA files to MP3 files.

• Use another provider's CD burning or authoring program to burn a finalized
data CD.
