burning cd in WMP

I've been able to burn 2 cd's of about 50 attempts. WMP suggests I try a
slower recording speed, tried it. A different disk, tried it. CD-R,
CD-RW,nothing. Any suggestions or tips?

i haven't been able to burn a music cd (data and photos no problems) since i
downloaded the wmp 10 update. gave up for a couple weeks, tried again today
and got a message saying it didn't recognize my burner. don't know if this
helps, but if you've made any progress, i'd really appreciate any feedback. i
did find some info on editing the registry to recognize the burner, but if i
do it wrong it's going to do major damage so i'm waiting for my tech expert
to come back to my office before i touch anything. good luck!!
