I'm having trouble understanding what to do in order to burn Quicken backup
files to my CD; I've never used at feature of Windows XP. When I attempt to
backup to drive E, I receive a message telling me a copy of the files I want
to back up have been placed in a CD BURN folder and I should remember to
burn them.
My machine came with a Roxio basic program that tells me I can set up a CD
to drag files to E with Windows Explorer; I don't want that.. The other
alternative is to use my DVD recordable drive to store up to 4.7 GB of data;
that's what I want. Problem is. I don't know what to do.
I've clicked the Roxio button for the latter operation, selected what I
though were the Quicken files from their present storage area, then hit
"Add". Next I hit "Record" and received a notice that no DVD recorders wee
on my system. I'm list. The drive into which I insert the blank DVD/CD is a
DVD drive. Perhaps the disc is a CD and not a DVD?
