Bullets not aligning correctly in Netscape

B

Brightbelt

Hi-
I'm on FP 2003, Win XP Pro. I've used bullets to
itemize content(s) in a table and it shows up fine in IE
6. But when viewed with Netscape 7, the bullets fall down
to the lower part of the cell, even though I've set the
picture properties vertical align to be "middle". I've
also set the cell properties vertical align to 'middle'
and it still doesn't change the way Netscape shows it.
The page is Http://www.frankbright.com/Compositions.htm -
Look for the grey-diamond-type bullets and you'll see
what I mean.
I appreciate your help,...Thanks,...Brightbelt

Try selecting Absolute Middle, etc. under image properties.

Hi Thomas-
Per your suggestion, I tried the absolute middle
setting - no change. (I only did the change & previewed
it in the browser; I didn't publish it). I'm open to any
other ideas you may have. Thanks for helping,...Frank

You have 2 adjacent images in a <p> block
<p><img border="0" src="BD15057_4.gif" width="15" height="15" align="middle">
<a href="Virgo2compn.MP3">
<img border="0" src="VirgoSongTitle.jpg" width="200" height="35"></a></p>

Rendering will be inconsistent in all browsers unless you set both image properties and put them in a 2 column table

PS
Look at your page in less than 800x600 and the diamonds are above the text images
- don't use indents as they tend to make the situation worse

Hi Stefan-
Thanks for the help, both of you. I didn't realize
tables/cells had to be that exact for Netscape. I've
made the changes and they show in the browser(s)
correctly online. It was the separate cells I needed, as
I had already set the image properties to center vertical
align. Thanks again,...Frank Bright
