Bullet position gets raised

I use ver 2003, ordinary square (hollow) bullet (char code 111 Windings). In
some slides the bullet gets raised by around 4-5 points above its normal
position. There is no space between or around. How to correct it? Thanks

Has any formatting (like bold, italic, etc.) been applied to the first text
character in the lines where the bullet is raised?
