Bullet List in a Table Cell - 2nd line will not indent under

M

Margaret Reese

I have typed a list in a table cell. Some of the lines
in the list are long and wrap to a second line. The
second line is directly under the bullet and will not
indent so it is under the first letter of the first word
of the line. How can I make these double lines in a
bulleted list line up?

Hello Margaret,

Don't think of it as a table (it's not like a Word table). In PowerPoint
it's more like a collection of rectangular autoshapes so you adjust the
indent of text in a cell just like you would adjust the indentation of text
that was typed into a rectangle. Simply click inside the cell that you want
to adjust (this only works for 1 cell at a time) and adjust the indent
markers in the ruler for that cell in the table. There are good help
topics in PowerPoint that describe this (with pictures). In PowerPoint 2003
the help topic is: "Adjust the indent in a bulleted or numbered list"

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint additional table text formatting options, don't forget to send

your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

suggestions)
