BSOD on reboot

On the rare times that I need to reboot, I get the BSOD before the PC will
shut down. The code is 0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED with
codes (0xC00000005, 0x8062A21D, 0xEFA1AA50, 0x00000000). I have the latest
BIOS available and drivers are updated.

The PC functions fine but hangs at the BSOD when I need to reboot. I don't
know if a flag is set somewhere from a past problem and not cleared or not.
Any idea on how to put this to rest? I appreciate any ideas offered. Thanks.

I've been through this list before I posted. Due to the fact it happens only
during shutdown, I thought I might be getting the message as an error in
itself. To continue, I must use the reset button. Event viewer does not show
a problem but it may be too late in the process to record anything.

Any other thoughts?
