BSOD in games

Hi All

I have the following

ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe (BIOS: 1009)
Albatron 128MDDR FX5900XTV Video
AMD 3200
Corsair DDR PC3200 Ram C2 2 x 512MB (slots A1 and B1)
Onboard sound
2 Hard drives (one 80GB the other 40GB) on Primary
Secondary IDE has DVD burner Pioneer I06

Brand new Windows XP installed patched up to SP2
Tried default video drivers and running latest ones from Nvidia website
Tried default Asus Nforce drivers and updated to 5.10 latest version
Tried using onboard LAN instead of card based LAN
Memory checks out fine running memtest

All though this system is very stable in non game mode (my wife can type all
day in various documents and general office usage like emails etc.) Come
time to play games and in this case Microsoft's Freelancer and the system
reboots with various dumps constantly (like 30mins or up to an hour).
0x0000008a
0x0000000a
0x0000007f
0x0000008e

In looking at the dumps using dumpchk the line points to ntoskrnl

Anyone have any ideas?

cheers

Dave

Further to my previous post.

I have one stick of memory in A1 and the other in B1

Using memtest I tested both sticks of memory one at a time in slot A1 and
both sticks have errors around 490MB up. I then tested one stick in A2 and
this also showed errors around 490MB up.

Could this indicate a motherboard problem as I cannot imagine two sticks of
corsair memory could have the same fault.
