browser window size issue

Hi, my issue is with the browser window opening to minimized when using
certain apps.
I am aware that the browser window should remain the same size the last time
you close it.
Let me make myself clear, when I first click on internet explorer it opens
all right (same size I left it the last time I closed it) now anything
through msn messanger I click on that opens a browser window (like for
sending someone an email) It opens in minimized state even though I
previously closed the window when maximized. Wasn't doing this before. Am I
right?
Is there a fix and can I get a step by step on how to fix this please, thanks.

Oh and by the way I have tried sevral things like streching the window all
the way out but still does not solve the issue 'cuz the window is still in
the minimized setting!
I really wana resove this and not work around this.
