Turn your Modem/Router for about 40 secs or so then your Computer for the
same length of time.
Turn On the Modem/Router and wait for a 30-40 secs or so then Turn your
Computer and try to connect and see if the connection will last.
If it doesn't then your winsock is damaged and you need to repair it:
Manually :
Open a run command and type in:
netsh winsock reset click [OK]
Reboot your machine.
Or download this tool:
WinsockFixer;
http://www.nasstec.co.uk/tools.html
Let it run and when it finished it will prompt you to reboot, do so.

Another, try updating the firmware for the Router/Modem.

Okay, try this:
On the My Computer right click the icon and select properties, on the system
pro click on the Hardware Tab then click on Device Manager button.
On the Device manager properties window click to expand this:
[-] Network Adapter and right click on your Network Adapter and select
properties.
On the NIC properties click Power Management and make sure the option for
Make the computer turn OFF this Device for power saving is unchecked.
Or check the settings for your NIC TCP/IP settings and make sure you get IP
adress Auto and there is no foreign DNS there ( meaning you get your DNS
auto also from your ISP).
HTH.

So may I understand your question like this, you still have Internet
Access, but your browser just can not display the webpage.

If that is the case, check your DNS settings, it could be some spyware
or malware implanted to your computer always try to redirect your
default DNS settings.

Try some anti-spyware software such as AVG or Windows Defender/
Malicious Software Removal tool, run them under safe mode, then boot
back to your normal node, reset your DNS to see if that works. BTW,
when you run those under safe mode, also make sure your cable is
plugged off... ...
