Browser seems to be reporting wrong version

We have one user who when trying to access a company website, gets the
"mobile" version of that website. IE6, SP1....Windows 2000 server SP4.

All other websites appear to be functioning correctly.

No one else in the company is having any issues using the same link.

When user uses FireFox on the same machine, no issue.

User has no issue when logging on through a different machine.

IE has been reinstalled several times, spyware and virus scans report
nothing. Cache and temp files have all been cleared several times.

Does anyone have any ideas what setting we may be missing that could cause
this problem?

It's possible the UserAgent entry in the registry of that computer is the
issue. The web site looks for that to see what browser you are using and to
change it's web page display as appropriate.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings

For WinXP and IE 6 the value should be - Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0;
Win32)

Resolution section.
