This is the third message about the same topic. 1(Browser
hijack (Browser Modifier)june 18 2.Browser hijack same

I´ve installed AdAware and SpyBot, 2 free prgms that
found within windows update. They helped a bit, but I
can´t isolate de trojan hhk.dll with antivirus.
Trojan altered to some extent letters and numbers of the
templates of most MS prgrs by doing they small "not as
the originals"; took over sound; at startup changing
bacground color of the screen into black and diplaying an
ad:

Browser version 4.0 (compatible;MSIE 6.0;WindownsNT 5.1;
SVI;Net Clr 1.14322)acces port number 33299.

The "accept" buton leads to AntivirusGold 2 (AvGold 2.00)
which in turn is defined by AniSpyware Beta 1 as an
possible browser hijacker....
Since friday noon I´m on this...Already did backups and
I´m preparing to re-format. I´m going to keep AdAware
and Kaspersky, my current personal antivirus (used to
have Norton but it failed several times before. I did
notice that is had problems with Windows XP)
