Hi all,

I have a small Home Network, compose by one XP professional like server and
another computer (with Windows Millenium on it) like client.

I use XP wizard for realize network. On the computer with XP I have 2
network adapters. Make an Internet connection sharing (with XP wizard,
again).

I modified local network to use static IP (192.168.0.1 on XP and 192.168.0.2
on Me). On Me set gateway as 192.168.0.1, and put my ISP DNS.

Something strage happend: on XP, I can navigate very well, but from Me,
when tried browse the Internet, some site I can download, another not. My
Internet Explorer write "Opening http://....." in status bar, download
preocent rise up very hard, and stoped around 35%. The page is blank, I
can't see nothing.

www.google.com work corectlly end very fast, by example, and www.yahoo.com
not. Ping www.myISP.ro work very well, ping www.yahoo.com work VERY WELL.

Can anyone tell me what is happend? :)

Check your security settings on the ME box to make sure they aren't set
too high. Make sure you don't have parental controls set, either from
within IE or from third-party software.
