Brother Spare Parts

Crizan

Hello,
I have a Brother 8045D with a "fried" power supply. I purchased the
printer in the US, then I moved to Europe where voltage is 220v, and
someone forgot to plug a converter. My problem is that the local repair
center is unable to find a replacement for the power supply because it
doesn't even appear in the EU main center database - it's US only. Even
the serial number of the printer isn't recognized. So if I want my
printer repaired, I need to supply them the necessary part. Duh.

Does anybody know where I can find US Brother spare parts on the net? I
specifically need the LG6309001 Power Supply part. If somebody has a
repair center or knows how to find the part please contact me -
obviously I'll pay whatever is needed to be paid. (Shipping would be in
the US by the way).

Thanks in advance
Bye!

Brother parts are notoriously difficult to get, especially in the US.
If you still live in Europe, have you considered getting a 220v power supply?
It should be a direct fit.
Brother UK have a web site for spare parts.
