Broken reference error

Lauren

Hi all,

I just upgraded to Access 2003 and when I open certain
databases, I receive the error message "Your Switchboard
database or project contains a missing or broken reference
to the file OWC10.dll version 1.1". I have received this
error in Access XP but when I ran Office Service Pack 3
for XP, it seemed to fix the error. The suggested fix for
this error is to open a module and check the reference I
need, however, I can't tell from the list provided which
one I need to check.

If anyoe can help me with fixing this, I would greatly
appreciate it.

Thanks!
Lauren

Hi,

Your application probably use the library in its reference, but
don't find the right version. Try to uncheck it, then, try to locate the
actual version ( "find" the file 'OWC*.dll' ) on the PC, if you really
need that reference. Once found, use the BROWSE button in the Tools|
Reference... dialog to locate the current version you have. That library is
sometimes used to automate Pivots Tables and Pivots Charts.

Hoping it may help,
