broadband connection...

I have a broadband connection (DSL),
Every time I try to connect, XP prompts for username & password, but the
check box to save user & password is disabled (grayed).

Any one knows how to fix this ??? (make the save check box enabled)
thanks.

Not sure if this even pertains to "these" passwords, but have you tried to
go into IE, Tools, Internet Options, Content tab, auto complete, check all 3
boxes, then clear passwords and clear forms, and "OK", and see if that does
anything. That's all I can think of, but may not pertain. Good luck.

You might try this, I have mine set up this way. Go to Control
Panel>Network and Internet Connections>Network Connections>Right Click your
default connection>Properties>go to Options tab>uncheck "prompt for user
name and password, etc." >click OK. You may have to close your connection
if it is active for the changes to take effect. After doing that you should
be able to double-click your default connection and the pasword prompt
should not appear before connecting.
