I have a document where I wanted to set off some lines by putting a box
around them.
I tried using borders, but it put separate boxes around each paragraph. If
I specified Text, it put separate boxes around every line!
I tried using text boxes, I had various problems, depending on how I did it
(eg., selecting the text, then doing the Insert/Text Box, or doing the
Insert/Text box w/o anything selected, then drawing the text box around the
desired lines). Depending on details, the text box wouldn't position right,
or didn't stay with the lines when I added or deleted line before the box,
etc.
I finally converted the text to a table and merged rows. So the "box" is
placed properly and stays with the text.
I'm fine with using tables to do this, but I'm wondering if there is a more
direct way to do it?
Thanks
