Bootlogo not visible for long time

I'm runnig my XPe on machine with the Intel I815 integrated graphics device
and a TFT-Display with resolution 1024x768.
When I boot my XPe, the screen gets black and stays black for 50 seconds
(XPe is booting meanwhile, I see the diskLED blinking) and then the bootlogo
appears for 12 secs and after a short time of black (2-3 secs) the Desktop
and Login-screen appears.

Has anyone an idea how I can get the bootlogo from the beginning?

If I install XP prof on the same machine I can see the bootlogo the whole
time (yes, graphics driver is identically).

If I activate the bootmenu via F8 and select 'VGA mode' the boot logo is
also shown the whole time.

Burkhard,

Pretty weird behaviour. I assume the boot media is ok since you don't see
the problem with VGA Save boot nor with XP Pro.

You may want to add SOS and BOOTLOG switches to your boot.ini to see what's
going on there while the kernel is loading.

One more option to investigate the problem and gather more data could be
using debug version of ntldr and the kernel, attaching with KD to the device
and watching on the serial debug output.

PS. Double check that you've got the same video driver on XPe as on XP Pro
and use video car supported modes.
Also, make sure all video driver dependencies are in the image.
