booting failure

I have an oldie, which runs windows XP: 392RAM, Celeron
300: One day a message on the start up screen would pop up
saying that your CPU is unworkable or has been changed:
bellow it would say press F1 to continiuo or DEL to enter
setup

Since i havent changed anything and i had an option i
pressed F1/ once in a while after booting the computer i
would get a black screen with no beeping at all. Though,
later on, after restarting (manually, reset button doesnt
work in this cases) i could make it work, eventually. Now,
its dead... i get a black screen (no post, no bios, no
hardware setup summary, nothing at all), no beeping even
when all peripherals are unpluged.
Does any one have idea what is going on with that
computer?? Thanks everyone

Ok my guess is that something is burned like your CPU or
MOTHERBOARD or the power supplier
Try to replace them start with the cheapest (power
supplier) and than go farther on
Good luck
