Boot to USB

Hi

I have Vista Home Premium

I have a XP Home PC that has died, I want to take the hard drive from it and
connect it to the Vista
PC with a USB hard drive adapetr.

Is it possible to have the Vista PC boot to the USB drive so the XP OS
loads?

If your BIOS supports it, yes!

But you will have some major problems if the PC you are booting from is not
the same as the one you installed it on. Also, if you do get it to boot, it
may deactivate because the PC is not the same as the one it was installed
on.
