boot problem

Hi new to XP would like computer to go to windows when I turn it on and not
stop at the bios screen first. I get a choice of setup or continue. Want to
skip this screen thanks

The problem is not with Windows...it's the machine settings.

When you get to the bios...take the option to save settings and exit...

if the settings don't hold, your bios is either misconfigured or possibly
your cmos battery is dead

Then you'll need to correct the problem in the computer's BIOS that's
causing it to stop at this point. This has, as this point, absolutely
*nothing* to due with whatever operating system might be installed on
the computer.
