In trying to remove a virus (W32.HLLP.Spreda.B (also called savenow)) found on my pc i followed the directions on norton's website http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32..hllp.spreda.b.html

Part of those directions told me to temporarily disable system restore and then edit the registry . I followed these directions (u can read them in full at the above link) and now my computer is in a continuous boot loop. It gets as far as the black xp loading screen and then reboots itself. over and over and over without end. HELP!!!!!

Save now is not a virus, it's an annoying program that
drains resources and causes your computer to be slow.
Try to locate it in your add remove progams and take it
out. As for the virus, it just finds that file and makes
changes to it in the registry. If you can't uninstall
it, follow the directions on that link you posted and
delete the save now out of the registry and then try to
uninstall save now.
