My PC supports booting from USB memory devices, but I haven't been able to
find any instructions on how I could do this.

Has anyone successfully been able to boot from a Mercury USB MP3
player/memory stick? Model is KOB MP30 from Kobian.

Thx!

More significant "might" be the motherboard, not the memory
stick.

One board here I boot from has Phoenix-Award 6 bios, and boots
from USB thumbdrives with boot device set to "USB-ZIP". Of
course you have to have the USB drive formatted (which it
presumably is already) with boot sector and (whichever) OS... for
example micro linux, dos, etc, etc.

I think this is my problem. I can't format the drive from Windows XP.

Going to see how else I can get system files/boot sector onto it. I haven't
seen what I can do in DOS with this yet.
