Boot error

When I turn on my computer it does the little Dell loading
thing normally like it should but after that it has an
error the stops me from goin on to my computer.The error
says:

Windows could not start because of a computer disk
configuration problem.Could not read from the selected
boot disk.Check both path and disk hardware.

If you know the manufacturer of your hard drive, go to there website,
download their diagnostic tools, make note of their instructions and then
run the diagnostic on your hard drive. It's sounds as though the driver has
failed or is failing. If you are still under warranty, contact Dell.
