from Microsoft, there is this xp pro sp2 boot floppy utility -
WindowsXP-KB310994-SP2-Pro-BootDisk-ENU.exe. It generates 6 diskettes. Is
there something equivalent for a bootable CD or DVD?
I would like add hard drive device drivers(NVIDIA Raid) to that also but at
loss how to do that.

why , my image software does not see the hard drive without the hd driver.

yeh, i made a bootable dvd -r with BartPE, drive image xml and my entire
windows xp home setup software and still had lots of room to spare. The PE
will ask you for the windows setup cd and copy it over. But will still make
a bootable disk without it. I also saved a couple of batch files that one
of them will let me restore the registry as well.

I chose to store the disk images (in xml format) of my hd on a seperate
partition since I used a dvd-r that can be used on my pc and laptop, instead
of a dvd-rw that could not be used on my laptop.

for at the store...

The floppies are not, in a sense "boot" floppies - they are used for
installing Windows when you cannot boot from the CD drive. They load the
initial setup files.

thx. On Tues night, I looked at the contents of the floppies, found out
they are suspiciously like installation set

Is there a way to make real XP boot CD that allow me to copy in the device
drivers so I can image the XP Pro without a second partition?
