Booking a resource - skill testing question

Fuzzy Logic

We are using Outlook 2003 with Exchange Server 2003. We have created a
resource for a piece of equipment and I want to know if you can book the
resource with the time showing as busy for the resource but my time as free?
If so how do you do this?

TIA

You could try this: Make the appointment as you normally would, with the time set as Busy. Take Outlook offline, and change the status on your copy from Busy to Free. If that generates an updated meeting request, delete it from the Outbox.

Interesting suggestion but this is beyond the capabilities of our average
user.
