in the trouble shooting log i get 0x50_RTKVHDA+fe440, type 0
But I don't get any hits when I search for that error message.
The next thing it wants me to do is to disable my sound card. I have
searched for driver updates etc.

Since you didn't really describe the problems you're having or where you
looked for driver updates, all I can say is that the RTKVHDA belongs to your
Realtek audio hardware. Normally this is an onboard sound chip so you would
look for drivers either on the motherboard mftr.'s website OR on the OEM's
website if you have that sort of computer (HP, Dell, etc.).

If you are sure that you have installed the correct drivers and your sound
doesn't work, if you have a desktop computer just disable onboard sound and
throw in a PCI sound card. Basic sound cards are very cheap.

If this didn't address your issue, then please post back with a better
description of what's going on, your computer, etc.
