blurry pictures

is there any way to "adjust" contrast? The characters and pictures on
my computer are "blurry" and cannot be clearly viewed.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Check the controls on your monitor.

Go to the video card manufacturer's web site and get the latest
Windows XP drivers for your specific video card model and install
them.

Open Control Panel - System - Monitor and make sure that you have the
resolution set correctly for your monitor and video card.

Try switching to a different resoltion (one step higher or lower than
what you are currently using).

Try rebooting the computer into Safe Mode. Does the screen still
appear blurry when running in Safe Mode?

Good luck

How about the physical monitor controls. These will take care of some
conditions that the drivers/software will not touch. They should always be
the first choice for adjusting the monitor.
