Blurry Navigation Buttons

Some of my navigation buttons appear blurry when I save it to the web. How
do I get rid of it? I'm using Frontpage 2002.

How are you creating them?
How are they getting into the web space?

Please post the URL - we can't offer a solution if we can't see what you're
talking about.

I'm adding new pages in the navigation bar and the banners and buttons are
generated automatically.

I only see one ratty button. It's the Commercial Projects button.
I'd check into speeding up the loading of your index page. Too much stuff
on the index page lengthens load time. (probably the rotating pix)

Make sure you have the latest video drivers for your video card can help eliminate these types of
issues as well.

The Java tour is taking for ever to load.

Didn't want to get into it. Stuff like that should not be on an index page
without a user selecting it. I almost stopped it and I have cable.

Are you saying that updating my video card may help with the blurry button?
I have had blurry buttons off and on since I started using Frontpage 2002.
In the past I recreated the page from scratch to get rid of them, not a fun
thing to do. Even on pages with minimual stuff on them.

Are you by any chance using Picture Properties to modify the size of the image button that you are
displaying.
If so, this will make them blur because you are forcing the browser to resize the image.

If you need to resize them use an image editor to actually "resize" the image to the dimensions you
want and then use them in your pages.

Did you try to manually edit that button?

If you right click on that wacked button while browsing the site and save it to local machine and view it...it has a solid brown bar across the bottom of it - this is the area that is looking wonky on your web.

Now...if you right click on any other button..then normal ones...and do the same thing they don't have the brown bar. Not sure what would cause one of many buttons (persumably the same button in FP)...to go wonky like that.

| No, this is on a navigation button that frontpage is creating for me.

May be less noticeable in JPG vs. GIF images which use a limited number of colors. But a video
card/driver has a major impact on creating images and printing.

No matter what PC (your, mine, his), the Video Card driver has a major impact on the quality of
