Blue Screen

Ciao,
when I try to clic right button on my hard disk to perform
a scandisk I'm getting the following error message-
STOP: 0x00000050 (0xBE1AB000, 0x0000001, 0xBFEE5B9D,
0x0000000) PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
*** Address BFEE5B9D base at BFEC8000, DateStamp 3ebc05a5 -
ntfs.sys

Any ideas on this?
