drivers and/or devices(logitech mouse, compaq multimedia
keyboard). Bios is American megatrend ver 1.17. Unable to
enter SAFE mode. Have disabled shadow memory. Do not know
how to disable bIOS memory(both of which were suggested by
error screen in order to remove devices.System boots to
the flying windows & then right to the blue. unfortunate
for me I do not have boot disk.
How do I get out of this dilemma, pls?

Boot off the windows 2000 CD into recovery console and rename the driver

thks. But the problem is that this was formerly a business
comp & I do not have the cd for this system though I do
have another 2000 cd. If I cannot correct is there any way
to erase the os and installthe other 2000 os, as I still
cannot get past that blue screen.

You can use any Windows 2000 CD, Pro or Server to get into recovery console.
Windows 2000 doesnt have any kind of activation so you could use any CD to
do a reinstall if you needed to.
