Blue Screen Stop message when I restart

Sometime back, I believe after downloading a Windows update and before I got
SP2, upon restarting I started getting the following message (truncated):
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer. PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA. If this is the first
time...etc. It then tells me to check for new hardware/software
installation, comments on BIOS memory options, etc. Ends with the Technical
Information: ***STOP: 0X00000050 (0XF9441c60, 0X00000000, 0XF94162c1,
0X00000000).

I've installed all updates to Windows XP including SP2, but the problem
persists. I have to manually turn off the computer and the option to go into
safe mode screen appears. Usually I can just hit enter to start windows
normally, but sometimes it takes 3 or 4 tries. I can't find a description of
this problem at MS and didn't see it in the discussions (although this is my
first shot at it). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks, Will. I did follow the link, but was not able to understand how to
fix the problem. It doesn't appear to be hardware related. I'm not sure how
to disable BIOS memory options. The event Viewerdid show sevearl errors of
IEXPLORER.EXE hanging up, but nothing on the link at MS to fix it. My
knowledge may be inadequate to solve the problem. Any other suggestions?
Thanks again.
