blue screen please help

Hey all,

When I do a cold boot up with my Windows XP Pro I'm sometimes getting
a blue screen with the message:

MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

***STOP: 0x00000044 (0x82E21008, 0x0000IBBE, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Any help would be grateful.

What do you mean "no help"?? All the info you need is in that article. I
doubt you will find much more help than that.

There is a resolution. Read it.

The articles that I've read just state that it could be a driver or drivers
that
COULD cause the problem.

The resolution is for Windows 2k NOT XP Pro !!

What I've been reading no one knows what the problem is or how to fix it,
that is why I asked here. I put in a search on google and other places and
none
of them were a match for the problem I'm having.

0x00000044 could be a number of faults that is why theres more numbers
after the fault number, but I thought that if I posted here someone would
know
why the pc only brings up this error message on a cold boot.

I just hope that I wont have to format my pc just to fix it, as its only
started
to happen in the last month.
