Blue Screen of Death with Wireless Card

Andy

Everytime I insert my wireless card into my computer, I
immediately get the blue screen of death when trying to
acccess a network other than the one at my house.
(airport, hotel, coffee shop, etc.) It works fine at home
but as soon as I try to use my card elsewhere, it kills my
computer.

Does anyone have any ideas. Microsoft, Sony, of D-Link
don't have a clue and are outrageously unhelpful.

Thanks

How is your wireless set up: using the Dlink management app or Wireless
Zero Configuration? If the former, select WZC by checking the box Let
Windows Manage...

You might disable any startup app associated with the Dlink management
app or uninstall the app also.

Also, check for new drivers. I had a problem with this on my D-Link
DWL-G650 using the drivers it came with, but it went away after updating
the drivers. I also installed the latest chipset drivers for my laptop
which may have helped too.
