Blaster Worm removable download

My programs were being interferred with by what I found
out was the Blaster Worm. I Ran recovery and it
downloaded my programs back on and they were still
affected. So I was able to download alll of Microsoft
Window Updates but Blaster Worm removal. I have tried
over a dozen times to download this program with
Microsoft Windows Updates, but it will not allow mw to do
this. Is there some other way to get this downloaded
since it is affecting the programs on my computer? If so

I didn't know there was a Blaster removal tool available for download, but
regardless, get the Stinger tool from www.symantec.com and turn on your
firewall ASAP if you haven't done so already....

Sorry, no email replies - keeping everything in the thread ensures that
everyone can benefit. Note that posting your valid e-mail address in a
newsgroup post, or in your news account settings, is a surefire way to get
spam and SWEN and other viruses sent to you....see
