BTW, I did not try the third line command because the 2nd one did solve the
problem.
Thanks for the feedback Satoshi.

Indeed, I did it. Thanks.
BTW, I did not try the third line command because the 2nd one did solve the
problem.
BTW, while I am trying to solve SR, I got a knowledgebase from Microsoft.
One of the first step was to start working from Safety Mode. Under the
safety mode, nothing was moved. All locked up. So, I posted the question
under a thread named "Freezing under Safety Mode".

You're welcome Satoshi. Most probably, commands 1 & 3 should have done it
for you. I don't think vbscript functions are utilitied by S.R interface,
but I just included it, in case.
May be an after-effect of running a registry cleaner.

Reamish,
You must be a GOD or Allah.
regsvr32 jscript; DllRegisterServer in jscript succeeded/OK
regsvr32 vbscript; DllRegisterServer in Vbcript succeeded/OK
When regsvr32 jscript was run, System Restore (SR) was still in blank.
When the second line, regsvr32 vbscript, was run, SR page appeared on the
screeen.
I found that it created a NEW system restore page starting today.
Thank you so much for saving my life. Without you, I might be working on
this stuff forever or I might do reformatting.
BTW, could you please tell what triggers the disappearance of system
restore? I am wonder whether I was in the middle of 90-day break for SR
today. Satoshi
See if these commands help. From Start/Run:
regsvr32 jscript
regsvr32 vbscript
regsvr32 /i mshtml
