Blank homepage

Recently I began getting "http://my.msn.com/default.armx".
My.msn.com fails to load, stops leaving a blank page. And
have to either restart ie6 or refresh. In the upper left
hand corner i get something to this
effect "ef='http://my.msn.com/default.armx'>here". Any
help?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function

I use S&D advanced mode, Adware 6.0, HijackThis,
CWShredder and x-cleaner already. Keeping each current.
Nothing has been detected. This problem has been around
for a few months. Even after reformatting HD and
reinstalling ME and ie6 (ie from M$ disk), performing OS
updates as needed. Before loading anything else. The
problem remained. However this blank screen (my home page)
ef=http://my.msn.com/default.armx oddity persists, but not
all the time.Loading as it should, but other times blank
and in the upper left corner
ef=http://my.msn.com/default.armx. Refreshing brings up
the home page, but home will not?
