BJC-85 escape sequences

I need to reduce character sizes for a couple of
heritage programs I keep in my DOS partition.
Recently I got an almost-new BJC-85, but the manual
just mentions what to click on in Windows or Mac,
neither of which I utilize. Does anyone know how
to shrink character sizes on the BJC-85 directly
with ESC sequences (or some other way)?

Otherwise this little Canon printer works fine.

If you cannot find which are those esc codes, you may want to have a look at
Printfil, which connects DOS apps. to Windows printers (even virtual
printers and GDI - Windows-Only - printers).

Thanks again! My last post was pretty stupid,
since I'm using DOS applications in my DOS
partition - it's all happening in my box at home,
no telnet involved.

I guess I was snapping at the idea of communicating
with a firm that doesn't support linux. But I wrote
them anyways and am waiting (without holding my
breath) for an answer.

As far as I am aware, you have three choices: get a printer that uses a
parallel port; change software to a windows version so you can use the
printer on the USB port; try a program
such as DOSPRN.
