Biz. Contact Mgr 2003 data file problem

I have been running Outlook 2003 beta w/ the business
contact manager. I have hundreds of contacts stored. I
downloaded and installed the Outlook 2003 beta refresh. I
also downloaded (But did not install) the technical
refresh for business contact mgr. In the installation
instructions it said to back up the the data files before
uninstalling the old contact mgr and installing the new
one. After starting up outlook I found that the contact
mgr data files will no longer open so I can not back them
up.
Is my data lost or can I retreive it somehow???

You have to access them with the Beta 2 version. There were database changes
between the beta 2 version and the refresh version and the files are not
compatible. Your best bet is to access the database with the Beta 2
version, export Contacts and Accounts, then install the Refresh and import
the Contacts and Accounts.
