Birthdays

Everytime I add a new contact with a birthday or aniversery it displays on my
Calender. I would rather it not do this... Is there any way to set Outlook so
that it doesn't automatically add these to the calender?

The only way I know of is to store the birthday and anniversary dates
somewhere other than those specific fields. You could just put them in the
text area of the first tab of the Contact item.

How could there not be a way to disable this "feature"?

It's extremely annoying to delete every contacts birthday reminder manually
every time I update any information in my cell phone and syncronising it with
Outlook. Lucklily I don't have very many contacts, if I had like 100 it would
be impossible to repeat this work every time.

As it wasn't annoying enough, there is a minor grammatic error in the text
for the Swedish version which really bothers me, so even if I wanted this
birthday reminding function, I still would have to change each post!

I don't really understand how you can implement a "feature" that the user
can't disable! I'm sure this "feature" has annoyed a lot of people. Does the
same problem occur in next version of Outlook?
