Birthday / Anniversary Contacts to Calendar

Paul Skayman

Hi All,

I understand that when I place a birthday or anniversary in a contact then
Outlook should place that same birthday or anniversary in the calendar. I
can't seem to make this work. I understand there is sometimes a problem with
imported .pst files. I've created new contacts and it still doesn't work. I
have changed some of the categories (initially combined Birthday and
Anniversary) which I've subsequently changed back.

Does anybody have any bright ideas?

Regards,

Paul.

There's ALWAYS a problem with importing PSTs and it's ALWAYS avoidable by
not importing.

Creating a new contact or modifying an existing one should cause Outlook to
regenerate the birthday and anniversary events for that particular contact.
It always does for me. Have you tried repairing the PST or starting with a
new mail profile?

I scanned the .pst file and there were errors. These were repaired but no
change in the original problem. I have even started with a new Outlook.pst
file, placed a new contact in it and there still isn't an entry in the
calendar.

Very confusing!

I don't see here where you state you tried a new mail profile.
