Stop flashing BIOS
Set BIOS to 'Default' settings
Start machine in 'Safe Mode' or attempt to boot using OS CD.

Disconnect all peripherals ,externals, before starting.

If problems remain, post message with more background:
new OS install? any recent changes to machine, etc.?

the jumper is set to clear
you flashed to a incorrect bios
your bios software/hardware is busted beyond repair
you put the battery in backwards
