I get this error for about 6 months and it is still not
fixed. I get a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error on
NDIS.SYS. It happens when my ADSL Modem gets too much
readings i think. It mostly happens when i try to play
some mutliplayer games and also when i host a server on a
game and more then 3 peoples connect to my server. I have
this modem
Ericsson HM121dp USB ADSL Modem.
And also this are my computer specifics.
ASUS Motherboard with P4P800-VM
1GB of Ram
2800 MHZ
GeForce FX 5700 256 MB Ram
I tried everything to fix this error but nothing worked.
I tried this.
*Reisntalled the drivers for the modem 1000 times. I even
got new drivers but nothing.
*Defragmented all the disks milions of times.
*I did scan disks and virus checks it didn't worked.
*I reinstalled Windows XP it didn't worked.
*I got USB 2.0 card with two places that didn'ted worked
also.
*Installed SP2 today again didn't worked.
I also contacted i think for one thousands billion times
those who gave me this modem (or the provider that makes
this ADSL connection.) They constantly says: We don't
know, Reinstall Windows XP, It happens because my
connection has IP changing (which doesn't matters at all
because my IP only changes whenever i close the
conenction and open it again.), scan for viruses,
BLABLABLA. What is worse thousands of times i told them
can i change my modem. They say something like we can't
today call us tommorow, no its not with the modem, we
will call you when we can change it (Too bad they never
call you.). Why the hell they just don't say that they
are lazy to work? If they are so lazy then why did they
even take the job to work for customer care?
Ok it doesn't matter at all with them. Now what i am
asking.
Is there anything that can fix this error?
Should i change my Modem, Do i need to upgrade my USB, Do
i need drivers...?
Please if you can help me. I seek for answer desperatly
