BIOS doesn’t recognice IDE CdRoom device

The problem I have is that the mainboard I have is a PCchips P13G with
two SATA channel and two IDE. My hard-disk, a Samsung SATA 160GB,
works well; but the CD-ROM device is not recogniced by the BIOS. I
need to format my operating system y there is no way to do it without
a CD_Rom device.

Mi first try was to change the power supply box, now it is a 500W one
and the problem is still happenning. Then, I’ve changed the CD-Rom
device and I have no good answer from my pc; and in addition, then i
changed the IDE data-flag. And it doesn’t work!. I’ve tryed swapping
the IDE between the two conectors onto the mainboard and its still no
working.

Is there any special way to configure the BIOS of this kind of
mainboard? I must say that the IDE CD-ROM device was working well one
week ago. I think somebody at home have changed my BIOS configuration
by mistake. But now i need to know how fix it by configuring my BIOS
apropriately in order to get the IDE device working together with my
SATA HardDisk.

Thanks in advance.
