bilingual windows xp

Hi Y'all

I'm currently running windows xp japanese version.
However, I am not japanese so i can't read most of the
characters. Is there a language switch in windows xp so
I can change between japanese and english. I don't want
to install the win xp english because it will forfeit the
3-year warranty on my pc (the japanese version came pre-
installed on the pc i bought).

no, you can't change the language, you can only change the keyboard-language
(layout).
Why would you loose warranty, if you install an english WIN XP ?? Very
strange !
You should only loose wartranty, if you change HARDWARE, not sofware by
yourself (at least, that's the law in germany)
